EXPEDITING THE GRADING
OF TERM PAPER |
-
Golden State uses an electronic document filing system that requires all
submitted hard copy documents are image scanned and converted to acrobat
or .pdf file. It is important that your answers submitted on paper can be
properly image scanned and converted to .pdf. Often times, these
submissions are not suitable for scanning because the print is too light.
This slows the grading process. When you follow the instructions below,
your Unit TERM PAPER will be graded more quickly. Note: GSU will not
accept any fax in term paper for marking. All the learner should send
their term paper via email.
-
Provide your full Name, Student ID #, Course Number Code, Program, Mentor
and Submission Date, e.g.
NAME: JOHNSON OWEN
STUDENT ID:
GSU001-123-456
COUNTRY:
COVENTRY, UNITED KINGDOM
COURSE CODE: BUS 452
INTERNATIONAL MARKETING
PROGRAM: MBA
MENTOR: DR. William
Wallace
SUBMISSION DATE: 20
June 2004
-
Type term paper responses.
-
Use only the front side of a white sheet of paper with straight edges for
term paper responses.
-
Refrain from making grade inquiries for at least 14 business days. The
normal completion time for grading a mailed term paper is 14-21 business
days.

HELPFUL INFORMATIONS |
-
Please do not submit all of your term papers at once. It is very important
that you submit them as completed so that we can accurately monitor your
progress and provide useful feedback. In addition, when term papers are
submitted all at once, the grading process is delayed.
-
Each GSU course has a study guide introduction and a course information
section at the beginning of the study guide. These two sections are very
important and must be read to understand the requirements and appropriate
procedures related to the course.
-
When addressing the University via e-mail, fax, or other communication,
please provide your name, student number, the course number code, and
course name you are referencing. This will expedite the response to your
inquiry.

E-MAIL YOUR PROJECTS
PAPER |
-
Learner should submit all their research project/thesis/dissertation via
e-mail. The paper/project will need to be in MS Word or Rich Text
format or Open/Star Office format or in acrobat .pdf reader format.
All submitted language must be in English format.
-
When e-mailing the paper, address the e-mail directly to the Learner
Services at
service@goldenstateuniversity.edu.
Learner Services will update your status you have submitted your paper for
grading and will forward it to your mentor.
-
Please remember to include your name, student number, course number code,
and course name in the e-mail and the attached document.
-
This will assure your projects are processed correctly. By e-mailing your
paper as directed above, the processing time should be reduced
significantly.
